Meet Veda!

This vivacious young lady is ready to wiggle her way into your home and heart.

Veda is a 1 year old Staffy x German Shepherd mix who brings plenty of energy, enthusiasm and fun wherever she goes. She's a sweet, affectionate girl who absolutely loves her people and would happily be your little shadow, staying close by your side whenever she can.

Because Veda can be a little jumpy and high-energy, she's looking for a home with secondary school aged children or older. She'll thrive with adopters who can help her channel her enthusiasm into positive activities, training and plenty of enrichment.

Veda would also prefer to be the only dog in the household. She has shown that she can become overwhelmed around other dogs, so being a single dog will help her feel safe and settled. Once she's comfortable in her forever home, she would benefit from continued, gradual and positive introductions to other dogs at her own pace.

Veda is smart, very treat driven, and already knows how to sit on cue, which are great indications that she will be quite trainable. With patience and consistency she could have a whole repertoire of tricks to show off.
