Danica

Meet Danica! Danica is a sweet, affectionate girl who is slowly blossoming. She was shy for her first couple of days, but once she found her feet she began exploring her new surroundings with growing confidence. She'll do best with a gentle, patient introduction to her forever home.

Once she trusts you, Danica is a real sweetheart. She loves to head-bump your hand to ask for more pets, and she'll often follow you around to see what you're up to. She also enjoys interactive play, so a feather wand or two will go down a treat!

She's not a big cuddler just yet, though she will let her carer pick her up for short moments. At night, she likes to curl up on the bed beside you. Danica has recently seen her kittens go off to their own homes, so she may simply be enjoying her freedom for now, and with time she may well be up for more cuddles.

She's a little shy when visitors arrive and tends to hide, but we expect she'll grow braver as she settles in. Danica enjoys her outdoor cat enclosure, though she prefers to spend about 80% of her time indoors. She's also very clean and uses her litter tray beautifully.

Danica hasn't yet been tested with other pets or children, so a home who understands she may need a little time to adapt would suit her best. Danica really is a little treasure.

MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check, first vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchip including the transfer of ownership, and sterilisation at a STAR approved vet (please ask for more info on our partner clinics).

*Kittens may require further vaccination(s) to complete the full vaccination course. This will be at the cost of the new owner and is not included in the adoption fee. Please enquire for more information.

ADOPTION DETAILS
To apply to adopt, please complete a STAR Adoption Enquiry Form. You will be advised if your chosen kitten is still available and then put in contact with the carer for a chance to ask further questions. If a meet-and-greet is then arranged, we will email the adoption paperwork and payment instructions to you beforehand. Please note payment must be made before adoption trial starts and we are unable to take cash payment.

Our adoption process includes a two-week trial to ensure your chosen pet is the right fit for your home. Vet records will be sent after the two week adoption trial period is complete. We will send the microchip change of ownership form to the relevant microchip company, who will notify you once the transfer has completed.
