Hi, I’m Roy!
I’m a teeny-tiny Jack Russell × Maltese, born in May, and I might be pint-sized, but I’m already packing plenty of life into my little world!
I’m the sort of dog you can scoop straight into your arms — but don’t mistake my tiny size for wanting to sit at home all day. I’m a little dog who wants to get out and do things.
I’m already a Park Run regular, and yes, sometimes those little legs need a lift! 😂 I’ve also been attending social dog walks, heading off to doggy daycare and getting lots of opportunities to meet dogs, people and experience the world.
I currently live with two other Jack Russells, so I’m accustomed to having canine company around me.
I can be a little shy and unsure initially, but I’m gaining confidence and skills all the time. I need my new family to keep that going. Take me places. Train me. Socialise me. Let me experience things. Help me become a confident, capable little dog.
And when the adventures are finished? Pick me up and cuddle me. ❤️

I’m looking for someone who wants a little mate to genuinely be part of their life. Someone who understands that although I’m ridiculously tiny, ridiculously cute and a whole lot of fun, I’m still a puppy who needs commitment, boundaries, training and continued socialisation.

*Please only apply if you reside 4hrs from Shepparton
* You will have a list of questions sent that you need to answer and send back.
* (For dog applications) Photos are requested of your yard, the fencing and any undercover shelter areas (patio/pergola) that must be sent through along with answers to questions.
* It’s not first in best dressed and we pride ourselves in finding the perfect family home for the animals in our care and make sure each family finds the perfect animal as well.
* We feed our cats on Lifewise, bags are available to buy from us.
* We also offer a 2 week trial on all animals that are adopted from this rescue organisation, if returned during this time a refund less 10% is given.
* Meet and greets are always taken prior to adoption, on the day if all goes well and you are happy, you can adopt on the spot and take your animal home to begin the next chapter together. We don't offer more than 1 meet and greet.
*All animals listed on our petrescue page are available for adoption until the moment they are removed
