If Bear could choose his favourite place in the world, it would be right beside his person… preferably touching! This affectionate boy adores people and wants to say hello to everyone he meets. ❤️
Once used to living outdoors, Bear has discovered the comforts of being inside, and he’s very much a fan! He’s looking for a home where he can be part of everyday life, share plenty of cuddles and enjoy adventures with his family.
Bear has previously lived with another dog but is fearful of unfamiliar dogs as he has been attacked from a neighbouring dog play his previous home.
With patient support, his carer is seeing encouraging progress. Slow introductions, particularly walking alongside another dog with a person handling each, have helped him relax and feel more comfortable. He can still have fearful moments, so introductions need to move at his pace.
As Bear has previously lived with a dog he loved, a compatible canine friend may be an option, following careful introductions and a suitable match. He needs someone who understands his fear and will give him time to build confidence. 🐾 He will also be fine living as the only dog.
Once settled with his person and surroundings, his carer describes him as a fantastic walking companion with lovely lead manners.
Bear also has energy and a clever brain. He would love an active home offering:
🐾 Regular exercise and sniffing adventures
🐾 Reward-based training — treats are the way to this boy’s heart!
🐾 Scent games, food puzzles etc
🐾 Plenty of companionship, affection and indoor family time
His carer says he has an incredible nose, so scent-based activities would make him happy too.
Bear has so much love to give. He needs a patient, active person who can help him feel safe while giving him a full and happy life. In return, you’ll have a devoted companion who takes his cuddling duties very seriously. ❤️

We aim to make the adoption process smooth and supportive, while ensuring every pet is placed in a safe, loving home.
1. Application
• Complete our application form in full.

Include photos of your secure fencing, yard, and where the pet will sleep.

We welcome questions via the enquiry button but we can not respond to ‘Statements’ - use the application form instead.
2. Review
• A team member will contact you via email if we require any further information. Please check your spam/junk folder regularly. If your application is shortlisted, we will also contact you by phone to discuss it further.
3. Agreement
• If approved, you’ll receive an adoption agreement to sign and return.
• Proof of address must be provided with your application or at the meet-and-greet.
4. Meet & Greet /
• A meet-and-greet will be arranged if you live in the same state. Otherwise, transport can be organised to your area, where you will have a 14-day trial period.
5. Transport and Date organised
6. Adoption Finalisation
• Once successful, adoption is completed and your new family member officially becomes yours.
