Hi, I’m Nova! I’m an absolute sweetheart with a beautiful, confident personality. I’m a little chatterbox who loves having conversations with my people — I definitely have plenty to say!

Nature
I love to play and can happily entertain myself, but I’m just as much of a fan of pats, cuddles and affection. Once playtime is over, I’m more than happy to curl up and soak up all the love.

I’m a wonderful combination of confident, playful, affectionate and chatty, and I have such a lovely little personality to share with my forever family.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
My foster home has three kids, and I’ve decided I’m definitely a fan of the older one! I seem to understand children over 4 a little better, so I’d love a home with respectful kids who can give me space when I need it.

I’ve met dogs in foster care too. I’m not exactly a dog lover, but I’m quite happy to keep my distance and do my own thing. If you have a calm, respectful pup who understands my boundaries, we could probably make it work.

I’ve also met lots of cats of all different ages. I’ll be honest — I’m not always the most welcoming girl at first! I have a BIG personality and like to make sure the other cats know it. Luckily, they’ve mostly just ignored my dramatic behaviour and accepted me anyway. Now that I’ve realised they aren’t a threat, I’ve lowered my guard and absolutely love playing with them.

If I’m going to live with another cat, I’ll need slow and careful introductions so I have time to settle in and get comfortable. Once I’m feeling secure, there’s a very playful and affectionate girl underneath that big personality!

❌ I much prefer keeping all four paws firmly on the ground and coming to you on my own terms.

My PURR-fect home would be with a family who appreciates my big personality and lets me settle in at my own pace. I’d love older, respectful children over 4 who understand that sometimes I want cuddles and playtime, and sometimes I just want to do my own thing. I could happily live with another cat with slow, careful introductions, and I’d be happiest with a calm, respectful dog who won’t chase or bother me.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

Medical Notes: Nova has mild Gingivitis, which is inflammation of the gums. She is also missing some incisor teeth. This condition may require treatment on and off throughout her life. Nova will need her teeth checked at her annual vaccination. She may need treatment in between these times (of steroids and/or antibiotics) if the condition worsens. She may need teeth extracted in the future.
