About Manny
Where are our senior dog lovers❓
Meet the wonderful Manny, a senior gentleman with a heart of gold and plenty of love left to give.
When Manny unexpectedly found himself without a home, Animals in Need Brisbane welcomed him with open arms. Since arriving in care, he has shown everyone what a truly special boy he is.
Despite being a senior, Manny still has plenty of energy for his daily adventures and enjoys getting out for a walk 🐾 each day.
At home, Manny is the perfect companion. He is calm, relaxed, and happy to lounge around the house while you work. He can be left alone during the day without issue, but when you return, be prepared for an enthusiastic welcome from this affectionate boy who loves spending time with his people.
One of Manny's favourite activities is a good sniffy treat hunt in the backyard, and he's always keen to use his nose to track down hidden treasures. He also travels beautifully in the car 🚗 and is fully house trained ✔️.
Manny has previously lived with children and another dog. He walks wonderfully on lead and generally takes the world in stride. While he can occasionally become excited around larger dogs, particularly if they show interest in him, he is easily redirected and happy to continue on his way. He does best with slow introductions to new canine friends.
With his sweet nature, gorgeous frosty face, and soulful eyes, Manny has a way of looking at you that says, "Do you happen to have a treat?"
If you're looking for a loyal best friend who will happily join you on walks, keep you company at home, and fill your days with love, Manny could be the perfect match.
Senior dogs have so much to offer, and Manny is ready to show his new family just how special he is. 🐾

Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need-Brisbane website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. Our emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
