About Simba
Meet Simba, a lovely boy looking for a calm, patient and loving home where he can continue to build his confidence. Simba can be nervous when settling into new environments, so he will benefit from a safe, quiet space where he can relax and adjust at his own pace. Positive reinforcement, especially high-value treats, will help Simba feel comfortable and encourage his confidence to grow. His adopters will need to understand canine body language and give him the time and space he needs. Simba is best suited as the only pet in the household, allowing him to enjoy a calm and predictable routine. With the right home, gentle guidance and lots of encouragement, Simba will have the opportunity to feel safe, confident and truly settled.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
