About Kobi
*In foster care in Kogarah, Sydney*
Sweet older gentleman Kobi is an incredibly calm, friendly and affectionate cat who adores the company of humans and never turns down an opportunity for pats! Kobi was surrendered to a vet after his owners couldn't afford his eye surgery which he urgently required.
A day in his life usually starts with a big breakfast (he LOVES to eat), followed by a peaceful session of gazing out the window, a long nap in his favourite spot, then a big dinner in the evening before lounging around wherever you are. Kobi isn't a lap cat, but he always want to be as close to you as possible and he can get very creative with his cuddling positions!
Kobi has a gorgeous soft and cute meow that he uses to greet you and get your attention :) Though he's a classic couch potato, he does appreciate the odd bit of playtime and even busts out a zoomy here and there. He's a very restful companion who needs nothing more than a quiet, comfortable home to enjoy his retirement in!
Like all Maggie’s pets, Kobi is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... is with a single person, couple or family who's often around, as I love spending time with my special humans! I can entertain myself (or probably just sleep) if you're out at work during the day, as long as we can hang out and snuggle when you get home :)
A calm environment without too much noise or bustle would suit me best.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Lazy days are happy days!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Good overall, as long as everyone understands that I prefer not to be held.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I like other friendly felines with similar low energy levels as me, or cats who are more active but who respect my space and don't try to make me play.
Dogs are a mystery to me at this stage - but I'm pretty open to any pets with a calm and gentle demeanour, so if you think I might be a match for your resident dog, let's give it a try!
Medical notes
Kobi had his right eye remove after it ruptured.
Kobi has had a recent dental.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
