About Gypsy
Pigeon Toed Cutie Seeks Loving Home
Gypsy is a pretty, pigeon-toed girl who is sweet as can be. She really is a "no-fuss" pup. Her favourite place to be is by your side, happy to lounge in your company and be doted on. Her confidence has grown in leaps and bounds, and a confident owner will truly see her blossom.
She has a lovely, loose lead walk and is learning that it's fun to stop and smell the roses. Exploring new places gives Gypsy a bounce to her step - you'll believe it when you see it! When out on the town, she is content to watch the world go by, and isn't fussed by passing dogs. Gypsy does not require a high level of exercise, but she greatly benefits from multiple short walks each day plus other enrichment activities to keep her busy.
Gypsy is very gentle but her occasional "zoomies" when excited means young children would need to be careful. She is otherwise respectful of people's space and will gladly accept a pat from anyone.
Gypsy would prefer being the only dog in the household and receiving all the attention. She is fine being left alone at home for extended periods, and she thrives with some space to run. She wants help getting into the car and travels beautifully.
When bored, Gypsy loves to entertain in her favourite activity: stealing shoes! She is not destructive but does love to collect your things to nibble lovingly. Gypsy has done well listening to gentle yet firm corrections when too curious about human food and other items, but will need a watchful eye as she continues to learn boundaries.
Gypsy will make a wonderful companion to someone looking for a gentle, easy-going and affectionate dog who deserves the world.
Gypsy is not cat or pocket pet tolerant.

Adoption details
Our greyhounds live in foster homes until they find their adoption home. This introduces them to pet life, toilet-training and they learn how to behave inside the home as well as all the new experiences they get on their daily walks. Many spend time in a home with another dog, children and a few sometimes with a cat.
As a safety net for greyhounds who may not otherwise have a chance at finding a forever home, we do our very best to find the right home to match our greyhounds' needs. If you are interested in Greyhound Adoption or Greyhound Fostering, please complete our On-line Application to help us understand more about you and recommend whether the dog you are applying for matches your lifestyle.
