About Archie
Meet Archie, a handsome 9-year-old Pug who is looking for a loving home to call his own.
Archie is a sweet older gentleman who would love nothing more than a comfortable home where he can enjoy plenty of love, attention and companionship. He’s looking for a moderately active home where he can enjoy gentle walks and spend plenty of time relaxing with his people.
He is friendly around other dogs and could live with a buddy, provided they are a good match, and he could also live with children who understand how to respectfully interact with dogs.
Archie has previously had Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome (BOAS) surgery, so his new family will need to be mindful of his breathing and help keep him at a healthy weight. Avoiding exercise on hot days will also be important. We encourage any potential adopters to do their own research into BOAS to understand how best to support Archie throughout his life.
If you’re looking for a loving, easy-going companion who enjoys a balance of gentle activity and plenty of relaxation, Archie could be the one for you. We’d love to hear from you!
Archie is currently in foster care and not on site at our adoption centre. If you would like to meet Archie please fill out an expression of interest form and one of our kennels team will give you a call.
