About Snickers
Snickers has already spent her life being the sweetest treat in the room, lovingly raising six gorgeous kittens after coming into care heavily pregnant, and now it’s finally her turn to be spoiled rotten!
🍫 Snickers is a beautiful dilute calico mumma with a soft blend of creamy colours that reminded her foster carers of a chocolate bar, earning her the perfect name. With her kind green eyes and gorgeous pastel patchwork coat, she’s every bit as delightful as her namesake — all sweetness, but no nuts!
Loving, playful and curious, Snickers has embraced life after motherhood with a newfound zest for fun. Now that her “mummy duties” are complete, this lovely lady is rediscovering her playful side and proving that life really is sweeter when you get to be the centre of attention.
Snickers is a true people cat. You’ll often find her nearby, supervising household activities and making sure there are plenty of hands available for scratches. Chin rubs, belly pats and scratches at the base of her tail are her absolute favourites and will have her purring faster than you can unwrap a candy bar. She enjoys lap time, adores being picked up for cuddles, and one of her sweetest habits is greeting her humans at the door when they return home.
Like any good confectionery connoisseur, Snickers also appreciates the simple pleasures in life: tasty food, comfy spots near her people, and a good window to watch the world go by. A home with sunny windows, plenty of space to explore, and humans who enjoy sharing affection would be her perfect recipe.
Snickers hasn’t met children, cats or dogs in foster care, but her easy-going nature suggests she should adapt well with slow, thoughtful introductions.
After giving so much love to her kittens, this gorgeous girl deserves a family of her very own, a place where she can trade motherhood for a lifetime of cuddles, comfort and being treated like the sweetest little chocolate in the box.

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
