Yuki

Yuki is a Japanese Spitz with a big personality packed into one very fluffy, polar-bear-white body!

He’s cute as a button, incredibly confident and absolutely convinced he’s a BIG dog. And honestly, watching him with his much larger foster brothers, you’d think he was right.

Yuki is funny, playful and full of character. He loves a game, an adventure and, most of all, being involved in whatever his people are doing. He’s affectionate, loves a cuddle and is happiest when he has both people and other dogs around him.

Life with other dogs;

Yuki must have another dog in his new home. He absolutely loves canine company and needs a doggy friend to play with.

He currently lives with an Irish Wolfhound, Deerhound and Staffy and holds his own with the big boys all day long. The four of them play, wrestle and get up to mischief like a bunch of teenage boys!

💦 Water baby

Yuki is OBSESSED with water.

Swimming? Yep.
Paddling pool? Absolutely.
Puddles? Obviously.
Hose? Bring it on.
Water bowl? Well, why just drink it when you can play in it?

For a dog who is supposed to be a fancy little Spitz, Yuki certainly hasn’t got the memo!

🚗 Adventures & mischief

Yuki loves car rides and is always keen to come along. He enjoys exploring the garden, investigating absolutely everything and getting into mischief with his foster brothers.

His beautiful white coat doesn’t seem to have convinced him that staying clean is important. He’s quite happy getting stuck into life — even if he comes out the other side looking considerably less white!

🏡 Home alone

Yuki copes fine when left alone, but he’s definitely a social boy who would much rather have company. He’d love a home where spending plenty of time with his people and canine companion is part of everyday life.

🧼 The fluffy bit

That gorgeous white coat comes with responsibility.

Yuki has a thick double coat that needs regular, thorough brushing to keep it comfortable and free from mats, with extra grooming required during seasonal coat blows.

His adopters need to understand that coat care isn’t optional — it’s part of owning a Japanese Spitz and will need to be maintained throughout his life.

Yuki is looking for:

• At least one friendly canine companion
• A secure garden to explore (somewhere to splash would be a huge bonus!)
• People who enjoy an active, playful and social dog
• Plenty of time spent with his people and doggy friend
• A family or individual who will embrace his cheeky, adventurous personality
• Owners committed to regular, ongoing grooming and coat care
• And most importantly… people who don’t mind a little dirt, a lot of fluff and an enormous amount of personality!

Yuki is one of those dogs who makes himself very hard not to love. He’s funny, affectionate, adventurous and just a little bit naughty — and he’s ready to find a home that will love every bit of him.
