Maggie

Maggie is a beautiful five-year-old cat who came into our care as a stray from Craigieburn. While some people might hear "five years old" and think she's a senior cat, Maggie is still very much a young feline with many happy years ahead of her. She has all the charm, affection and companionship that make adult cats such wonderful additions to a home, while still having plenty of life and love to share.

When Maggie first arrived at the shelter, she was understandably a little unsure of her new surroundings. Being separated from everything familiar can be daunting for any cat. However, it didn't take long for her to realise that the people around her were there to help. As she settled in, Maggie's sweet nature quickly began to shine through. She has shown us just how appreciative she is of the care and kindness she's received, happily returning that affection with plenty of love of her own.

Maggie is a gentle and affectionate girl who enjoys spending time with people she trusts. She has blossomed tremendously during her stay with us and is always happy to soak up attention from her carers. Watching her grow in confidence has been incredibly rewarding, and we're certain she will continue to flourish in a loving home environment.

As an all-white cat, Maggie does have some special care requirements. White cats are more sensitive to the sun's harsh rays, so she will need to be kept out of direct sunlight for extended periods. Providing her with a safe indoor lifestyle or carefully supervised outdoor access will help keep her comfortable and protected.

Most of all, Maggie is ready to leave shelter life behind and find a home to call her own. She's a lovely, deserving girl with so much affection to give, and we would love to see her spending her days curled up in a warm, loving home rather than a shelter.
