🐾💚 Meet Stevie, a 1-year-old Cattle Dog–Kelpie cross who is brimming with love and ready to embark on the next chapter of his life. This endearing canine may have had a rocky start, but his heart remains open and full of affection, making him a wonderful companion for the right family.
Stevie has a cuddly nature and will quickly become your personal shadow. He is particularly fond of playtime, where energetic zoomies come alive, as well as a leisurely stroll by your side. Stevie is a curious adventurer at heart, but he’s also in the process of figuring out the world around him. With gentle guidance, ongoing training, and the right encouragement, he is ready to gain confidence and demonstrate just how smart and loyal he can be. 🌟
He is sociable by nature and gets along well with most dogs, making him a nice addition to a household with other four-legged friends. But Stevie's ideal home would be one that embraces patience and a willingness to engage in training sessions, offering reassurance and love as he grows into the well-adjusted, happy dog he is destined to be.

Adoption details
Once you are ready to adopt, please complete the Promising Paws Adoption Application questionnaire below. This is not a contract or agreement of any kind, just an expression of interest in the animal.
We will not authorise meets unless this has been completed and only approved applications may meet the dogs. Once you are approved and have submitted all relevant information, we will organise for you to meet the dog at your home or in a public place. If you have other animals they should please be at the meet.
Before applying, please consider and finalise the following: real estate approval, fence repair if needed, outside shelter areas and look into the dog's breed (e.g. size of dog, diet, temperament, exercise requirements).
Supporting documents required:
Real estate approval or proof of home ownership such as a rates notice;
Photos of your fence and current pets, if applicable.
The dog will be up to date with all vaccinations and worming as at the time of adoption. Any future vaccinations and preventatives will be at the adopter's expense.*
