About Moose - 2.5 Year Old Boxer
πΎ Meet Moose β Our Big, Happy Boxer Boy! π
Moose is a gorgeous 2.5-year-old Boxer who is looking for his forever home β and this big, happy boy absolutely LOVES life! β€οΈ
Moose is one of those wonderfully cheerful, no-fuss dogs who approaches everything with enthusiasm. He loves his people, loves his toys, loves playing and, most importantly, loves giving kisses β although we should probably warn you that Boxer kisses can be VERY slobbery! ππ¦
He is a big, affectionate goofball with a beautiful, happy nature.
Moose loves having company and being close to his people, but he doesn't need to be entertained every minute of the day. Give him some toys and he's quite capable of entertaining himself, and he's also happy to settle and chill while you're working.
What is important to Moose is being part of the family. He needs a home where he has access inside the house and can spend time with his people. He's not looking for a life in the backyard β Moose wants to be wherever his family is. β€οΈ
Moose already has some basic training and knows how to sit. He's a clever boy, but like many Boxers, his excitement can sometimes get the better of him!
He is a big, strong boy and can jump up when he's excited, so we think a home with teenage children would suit him best.
Moose is also strong on lead, so his new family will need to continue working on his lead manners and general training. He will do best with someone who can provide clear, consistent guidance and continue building on the skills he already has.
He is toilet trained, although as with any dog moving into a new environment, he may need a little patience while he settles in and learns the routine of his new home.
Moose is dog friendly, with any resident dog subject to a meet and greet to make sure everyone is comfortable and compatible. He also doesn't appear particularly fussed by birds.
π‘ Moose is looking for:
- A loving home where he will be welcomed inside as part of the family
- Someone committed to continuing his training
- A family comfortable with a large, strong and enthusiastic Boxer
- Teenage children due to his size and excited jumping
- Someone who enjoys having a happy, affectionate companion around
- Plenty of toys β Moose takes his playtime very seriously! π
- A secure yard where he can play and stretch his legs
- Plenty of love, interaction and time with his people
Most of all, Moose needs someone who appreciates what Boxers are all about β big personalities, big enthusiasm, big cuddles and an enormous amount of love. π
He really is a happy, no-fuss kind of guy. Give him some toys, let him be part of family life and accept that you may regularly find yourself on the receiving end of a very slobbery kiss, and Moose will think life is pretty perfect.
With continued training, consistency and lots of love, we think this gorgeous boy will make a wonderful and very entertaining member of the family.
