About Syd
Meet Syd,
Syd is the sweetest, fluffiest boy around! He's had quite a journey with us here at the RSPCA and is now looking for his forever home.
Syd loves attention from his people, but he isn't the biggest fan of being over-handled. He prefers to seek affection on his own terms, whether that's through a gentle head bunt or making biscuits on your lap.
Once Syd has settled into his new home, we're sure he'll show you his curious and playful nature. He would best suit a calm adult household, though he may also be happy sharing his home with cat-savvy teenagers who are willing to take things at his pace and build a special bond with him.
If you're looking for a sweet, independent boy who will reward your patience with plenty of affection, Syd could be the perfect match for you.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
