At just 18 months old, Rodger is a handsome Shepherd X with so much love to give! This gorgeous young boy is looking for a special home where he can feel safe, build trust and show off his wonderfully affectionate personality.
Rodger can be a little unsure when meeting new people, but give him time to get to know you and you'll discover what a sweet, snuggle bug he really is! 🥰 Once you're in his circle of trust, Rodger loves affection and we cannot help but fall in love with him when he wanders around his kennel with his favourite toy proudly carried in his mouth. It's impossible not to smile at this adorable sight!
🐶 Rodger is dog social, so he may enjoy having some canine friends, with suitable introductions.
🏡 His dream home would include:
* An experienced Shepherd owner who understands the breed.
* A calm, low-stress home where he can settle in at his own pace.
* Patient people who will let a friendship blossom naturally.
* No young children, cats or pocket pets.
Rodger isn't the kind of boy who will necessarily rush up to everyone he meets, but the bond you build with him will be worth the wait. He's a young dog with so much potential, a loving nature and a whole lot of cuddles to share once he feels comfortable.

Adoption details
Dogs and cats come microchipped, lifetime registration, desexed, vaccinated and with a 14 day health & trial period warranty (please note that SoCares reserves the right to conduct home and yard checks prior to adoption).
DOG ADOPTIONS: We like to make sure all dogs and their new family (human and four legged) are a suitable match so if you have other dog/s we always book a meet and greet at a time suitable for you to ensure they will get on.
