About Pocket
Pocket may have started life as a street kitten from a large cat colony, but nobody seems to have told him that he’s supposed to be the shy one.
We couldn’t find Pocket’s siblings, so he joined a little foster family of four other kittens of different ages. He fitted right in and quickly decided that being the smallest didn’t mean he couldn’t be the bravest!
Pocket firmly believes he is a big, brave cat. He regularly launches himself into wrestling matches with the older kittens, apparently unaware that they have a considerable size advantage. He doesn’t mind. Pocket is always up for a game and has absolutely no trouble holding his own.
He’s also wonderfully curious. New person? He’ll investigate. Something interesting happening across the room? He’s off to check it out. Pocket loves being part of the action and is often found sitting near his foster carer, watching everything that’s going on.
He’s still learning about the strange new world of being an indoor kitten, though. While he is curious, playful and increasingly comfortable around people, he’s not quite ready to be a cuddle bug yet. When he needs reassurance, you’ll usually find Pocket snuggled up with another kitten or perched somewhere up high, taking in the world from a safe vantage point.
And when it comes to other cats, Pocket definitely doesn’t play favourites. He loves them all. Big cats, little cats, older kittens, younger kittens, if you’re a cat, Pocket would like to be your friend.
What kind of home is Pocket looking for?
Pocket would be happiest in a home with another young, friendly cat who enjoys playing and having a feline companion around.
Even better, you could adopt Pocket with one of his foster siblings. He’s already formed lovely friendships with his foster family, and giving him a familiar feline friend would help him continue building his confidence in his new home. Check out Pocket's listing or ask in the comments of the application about his foster family.
Pocket isn’t quite ready to promise you cuddles just yet, but he’s curious, playful, brave and very much on his way.
If you’re looking for a little cat with a big-cat personality, Pocket might just be your guy. 💛
