About Ziggy
Say hello to Ziggy, a friendly feline with an independent streak and plenty of charm. He enjoys being near his people, exploring cosy spots and soaking up attention when the mood strikes. Ziggy isn't a cat who likes to be fussed over constantly-he prefers to make the first move, which makes earning his trust all the more rewarding. Once he feels comfortable, his sweet personality shines through.
His ideal home is relaxed and predictable, with companions who understand cat body language. Ziggy would prefer to be the only pet, allowing him to enjoy the spotlight without competition, and calm, cat-savvy teenagers may be a good match. He is also on a special diet to help him reach a healthier weight, so his new family will need to keep his meals on track-no matter how persuasive his dinner-time stare may be! If you're looking for a companion who balances friendliness with a little "me time," Ziggy may be the one for you.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
