Cassie

🖤 Meet Cassie 🖤

Cassie is a beautiful 10-month-old black and white female cat looking for a very special home where she can finally feel safe, loved and secure.

Cassie is an incredibly sweet girl, but she is very scared and timid and will need time, patience and understanding to settle into her new home. For this reason, we are looking for a calm, quiet home with no children and an adopter who is experienced with cats and understands that trust cannot be rushed.

We don't know much about Cassie's background, but we suspect her young life may not have had the easiest start. Despite this, there is a wonderfully loving little cat hiding underneath that fear - she just needs someone willing to give her the time and reassurance to let that side of her shine.

Cassie's new family will need to be prepared to put in the work. This means providing her with:
🐾 Plenty of patience and gentle reassurance
🐾 Safe, cosy hidey beds and quiet spaces
🐾 Soft voices and calm interactions
🐾 Tasty treats to help build positive associations
🐾 Lots of gentle cuddles when she is ready
🐾 Time to come out of her shell at her own pace

Cassie may not be the cat who walks straight up to you and demands attention on day one. But for the right person, watching her confidence grow and seeing her learn to trust will be incredibly rewarding.

Are you a patient, cat-savvy person who can give Cassie the second chance she deserves? ❤️

Come and meet this beautiful girl at Wat Djerring Animal Facility today.
