Meet Blair Witch!

Despite the spooky name, Blair Witch is really just a quiet girl trying to figure out this whole "being a pet" thing.

Blair Witch came into our care as a stray, and we don't know much about her life before arriving at the shelter. She may have spent a fair bit of time living on the streets, so being around people and receiving affection could still be quite new to her.

She is currently a little reserved but will allow gentle pats and handling without hissing or swiping. She isn't quite ready to lean into affection just yet, but that may come with time once she feels safe and learns that humans can bring good things.

Blair Witch is currently receiving some medication to help with her stress while in the shelter environment, and we think a calm home will give her the best chance to truly settle and show us who she is.

She's looking for a patient, understanding person who won't expect too much too soon. Someone with experience with stray or timid cats would be a wonderful match and can give Blair Witch the time and space she needs to build trust at her own pace.

For the right person, watching this quiet little witch learn that home life isn't so scary could be something pretty special
