About Kodi
Meet Kodi,
A sweet and very energetic young boy looking for his forever home. He is still learning to control his excitement and energy when meeting new people and will need guidance and support in the home so he can learn his own strength, he loves his people and can't wait to spend time with his forever family with lots of pets and attention!
Kodi will need to go to an adult or Teen home only and is looking for a home where he can be the only pet so he has time to focus on getting comfortable with his new family and getting a chance to work on calm greetings.
He will need a home that can dedicate the time to provide appropriate outlets for his boundless energy, think things like scent work, doing retrieving enrichment (Just as his breed name would suggest!) or even some good old fashioned interactive play in the backyard. He loves a good snack to eat or a toy to play with which will do wonders in supporting his training goals.
Kodi has some medical needs that will need consideration going forward in the home.
If you are looking for a young dog with boundless energy looking to learn, develop and flourish in a home that can provide the time and dedication a dog like him needs, come into the RSPCA today to speak about possibly adopting Kodi.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
