Sweetpea is an 8-year-old Shar Pei with a heart as big as her gorgeous squishy face
This beautiful girl is looking for her forever home, and she has plenty of love to give.
Sweetpea loves the simple life — her favourite toys, a leisurely stroll with plenty of time to stop and sniff, a comfy bed and, of course, food.
She gets tired fairly quickly, so short, relaxed adventures followed by a good rest are much more her style.
At 8 years old, Sweetpea still has some of her puppy craziness and once she’s warmed up to her environment, will happily greet you with a smile at the door with her tail wagging.
If you’re looking for a sweet, easy-going companion who would much rather snuggle, snooze and snack than run a marathon, Sweetpea might just be your girl 🩷
Sweetpea is ready to find her forever family. Now for the serious side -
- Sweetpea is best suited with a chilled dog, someone to keep her company but won’t be in her face
- She is cat friendly, with a ‘dog friendly’ cat
- She requires secure fencing

Adoption details
* Once an interest is lodged on a dog, a member of the team will call the person and follow up within 24 hours of receiving.
* An adoption form is emailed to the applicant for completion once the initial call has quantified a fit for the said animal.
* Once the application is received back to PPAR with yard photos a meet for the animal is organised.
* If the meet is a success, Adoption is then activated with all relevant paperwork emailed including MC transfer / all vet work certificates (C5 / desex etc.)
* Team member will follow-up after the successful adoption to ensure all is going well
