Stomp - a dog who’s heart is nearly as big as his head.

Coming from a place of neglect and malnourishment, Stomp has impressed everyone he has met with his calm, loving and overall trusting nature.

Currently Stomp is thriving in a foster home with two other dogs, a cat and many chickens. He will happily play and socialise with our dogs, following their cues and taking corrections very well. He has shown only a calm, restrained curiosity to both the cat and chickens.

Stomp spends the majority of his day snoozing in a comfy spot on the back deck. He is not a dog that needs a large yard, just a couple of comfy, sunny and shady options. He can be left home alone or with canine company, calmly awaiting his humans return. Stomp is toilet and crate trained and sleeps all night in the crate without fuss. He has easily slotted into our routine.

Walking on lead is still a work in progress, but with the aid of a halti and some good treats anything is possible. True to his breed, Stomp can be stubborn. It is difficult to keep a straight face as a big chonk of a dog lays down and refuses to go the way he’s asked. However a little persistence or an offer of a tasty snack and things are quickly back on track. With some consistent training Stomp will absolutely thrive.

Stomp’s dream home is one full of love, maybe even enough to match the amount he has to give.

Oh and by the way, the slobber, hope you're okay with some slobber!
