About Mini
Mini is a female domestic short hair cat available for adoption in Lidcombe (Sydney, New South Wales).
Mini is a loyal, affectionate cat who likes to stay close. She follows you through the house, settles beside you and bumps her head against you when she's happy.
She's active enough to chase a dancing light across the floor and quiet enough to curl up next to you for the evening.
She's a sensitive soul with an adventurous streak. Some days she's quiet and independent, other days she's up for anything, and both are all Mini.
A little about Mini:
🐾 Adores chasing lights and gets wonderfully focused doing it
🐾 Loves food and toys in equal measure
🐾 Big fan of sunbathing and watching moving things from her favourite spot
🐾 Says hello with a head bump, then leans in for a pat on the neck or tummy
🐾 Follows you quietly from room to room, then jumps up to sit beside you
Mini's days have a gentle shape. She wakes when you do, stretches, then waits for breakfast.
After that it's play, a window on the world and a long nap, with a burst of running around before bed.
In the evening she sits or sleeps near you, then heads off on a few adventures of her own around the house.
Her affection is specific and deliberate. A head bump when she likes you. A spot chosen right next to yours. A pat on the neck, and even the tummy, once she has decided the time is right.
She isn't clingy. She loves you in her own quiet way, and it means more because she chooses it.
With new people, Mini watches from a hiding spot and comes out in her own time. She chooses her moments, and she's happiest when the invitation comes from her.
Give her a calm room and some space and you'll find she shows up.
Mini suits a calm household with a guardian who values quiet companionship and an even-paced day. Younger and older guardians alike will find a good friend in her.
A home without dogs is where her calm has room to land. A safe outdoor space, like the balcony she loves, adds to her day.
Picture a quiet evening. Something sizzles in the pan and Mini appears at your feet, hopeful. Later she follows you to the couch and jumps up beside you.
Mini is ready. The head bumps, the chasing games and the quiet company are all waiting for the right guardian.
FAQ

How does she go with new people? She watches from a hiding spot first. Give her space and you'll find she comes out in her own time.
Does she scratch the furniture? She loves a good scratch. Give her something of her own to scratch on, add a few friendly reminders, and you'll find she makes it hers.
What does she love to play with? Chasing lights is her favourite game, and she's happy with any toy you play with her.
Medical notes
Mini is in good general health and does best on a diet with plenty of moisture, which supports her digestion. A mix of wet food alongside her dry biscuits, with fresh water changed often, keeps her comfortable and regular. She loves her wet food, so it's an easy routine to keep up.
Measured meals help Mini keep a healthy weight, and regular dental checks look after her teeth, which show mild, early changes.
Her complete patient history is on file and ready to share with her new guardian's veterinary team when the time comes.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
