About Oreo
Oreo and her family were handed in at one of the rescue's vets. We don't know where they came from, but from the moment their carer brought them home she realised they were just the loveliest family.
Oreo loves playing with her toys and with her brothers. And recently she's discovered that laps are a great place to be and takes every opportunity of sitting on them!
Initially she was scared by justifiably scary things like the vacuum cleaner, but recently she's realised that that's not really that scary after all.
She can be a bit shy with new people, but once she knows you're safe she is very happy to come for a cuddle. In fact, where her people are is her favourite place to be!
We think Oreo would adjust to pretty much any home. Just give her a bit of time to get to know you.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.

ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
