🥊 𝐌𝐄𝐄𝐓 𝐌𝐈𝐊𝐄 𝐓𝐘𝐒𝐎𝐍 — 𝐈𝐓’𝐒 𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄 𝐓𝐎 𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐆 𝐔𝐏 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐎𝐗𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐆𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐒 🥊

Meet Mike Tyson, a beautiful boy named by our gorgeous vet nurses, Rhy & Lachlan. ❤️

And just like his namesake… this boy has been through a few rounds.

Mike was once someone’s beloved kitten. But at around one year old, he disappeared.

For the next five years, Mike survived life on the streets.

Five years of having to fend for himself. Five years of injuries, uncertainty and never knowing where his next meal would come from.

Then, one night, something incredible happened.

Mike’s owner opened the front door… and there he was.

Meowing at the door.

After five long years, he had finally found his way home. 🥺❤️

Sadly, his owner was no longer able to keep him, so Mike was surrendered to us — giving this old street warrior the chance to finally know safety, comfort and love again.

And our boy has certainly taken a few hits along the way.

🥊 Mike is FIV positive
🥊 He has a painful mouth ulcer/infection
🥊 He has three fractured canine teeth
🥊 And he has a cauliflower ear from an old injury that has now healed

Mike was supposed to have his desexing and vaccinations, but unfortunately our poor boy also has cat flu. 😿

So, his surgery has been put on hold for a couple of weeks while we get him feeling better.

While Mike isn’t quite ready for adoption yet, he doesn’t need to spend the next few weeks in HQ.

We would absolutely love to find this beautiful boy a foster or foster-to-adopt home where he can recover somewhere warm, quiet and comfortable while he waits for his desexing and vaccinations.

Because Mike is FIV positive, he will need a home with other FIV-positive cats or no other cats.

He has already spent five years surviving on the streets.

We want his next chapter to be completely different.

Just a soft bed, a full belly, a warm home and someone who will show him that life can finally be kind. ❤️‍🩹

Mike has spent enough time fighting to survive.

Now it’s our turn to fight for him. 🥊❤️
