Meet Bandit

This absolute gentleman is beyond adorable, smoochie faced, gentle and a bit timid. He is respectful to all other dogs and children, takes a while to warm up to some adults. Not a fan of pussy cats and has not been tested with farm animals.

Bandit was found wandering on a dirt road with another female dog in reasonable condition but had clearly been abandoned. You will need to have patience and kindness above anything else as you earn his trust and affection. You need to put your thoughts into what he has been through and let him come to you so he choses you to be his friend. Please want to be his solution and not another human who has expectations above what he can meet.

Bandit just loves a daily walk or a wander through the bush, or along the river bank. He is not a man in a hurry, he takes his time and just keeps happily walking along. Bandit is best suited to someone who will walk him daily, allow him to be a part of their life and enjoy the company of a dog who has the experience of life on his side. He is a good boy, a lovely gentle boy and he deserves the rest of his life to be filled with love, genuine kindness and a little bit of adventure every now and then.

Independence level : Mildly cautious when not in familiar territory or with unfamiliar people.

ADOPTION INSIGHT

Bandit is best suited to an individual or older couple or family with older children who have the time to walk him and give him affection. He likes the no fuss uncluttered no noise country, the city would probably overwhelm him. Bandit does behave well alone and will be a great companion for someone who wants a genuine animal companion. Bandit will need time to adjust to his new family, if you expect an immediate connection, this is not the dog for you. If you have patience enough to wait for him to select you, Bandit will be the perfect little gentleman companion.
