Hamish

Handsome Hamish is a 2.5-year-old sweetheart who is looking for a patient and understanding home where he can build his confidence at his own pace.

Hamish is a very gentle boy with a kind nature, but shelter life can be a little overwhelming for him and he can be quite shy when meeting new people or adjusting to new environments. Once he feels safe, his sweet personality starts to shine through, and it's clear there is a lovely cat underneath that cautious exterior.

His ideal home will be one that can provide him with a quiet, secure space to decompress while he settles in. Hamish isn't the type of cat who will arrive and immediately take centre stage. Instead, he'll need a family willing to give him time, patience, and understanding as he learns that he's finally safe and loved.

The reward for that patience will be watching Hamish grow in confidence and come out of his shell. With a comfortable spot to relax, a predictable routine, and people who respect his pace, we think this nice boy has every chance of becoming a wonderful companion.
