About Drifter
Meet Drifter! This handsome boy is food-motivated, knows his sit and hand target, and enjoys playing fun find-it games. He's a curious, active fellow who loves to sniff, explore, and take in everything around him. Drifter can be affectionate on his own terms and will appreciate adopters who understand that trust and connection can take time to build. He'll thrive with patient, consistent people who can provide structure, enrichment, and ongoing training while helping him develop his confidence and good manners. Interactive games, scent activities, and positive reinforcement will help keep his clever mind engaged. With time, patience, and a predictable routine, Drifter has the potential to become a wonderful companion and a rewarding member of the family.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
