About Henry
Henry is a sweet, affectionate young Border Collie who is looking for a structured, routine-oriented home that can channel his working-breed energy and guide him with patience. Having lived as an outdoor-only dog previously, Henry is well-used to spending his days alone for 6–7 hours and sleeping outside at night, but he would love to be slowly and positively introduced to an indoor/outdoor lifestyle at his own pace. As a clever young boy, he thrives on physical exercise and mental stimulation—especially herding-style games—though his outdoor space will need to be clear of tempting plants and palm fronds, which he loves to rip up and chew, requiring a supply of appropriate chew toys instead. This jumpy but affectionate boy already knows how to sit, has successfully lived with two cats before, and can be a bit frustrated around other dogs—meaning any canine siblings and the whole family must meet him at adoption.
