About Bruno
Meet handsome Bruno!
Bruno is a lovely boy looking for his forever home where he can enjoy plenty of treats, gentle pats and, most importantly, a safe and quiet space where his gorgeous personality can really shine.
Bruno is a scared boy who can feel a little overwhelmed by new people and unfamiliar surroundings. He may take some time to feel comfortable, so he'll need a patient family who understands that building trust doesn't happen overnight.
With a little time, reassurance and plenty of tasty treats, Bruno will slowly start to show you the sweet boy underneath that nervous exterior.
Treats are definitely the way to this boy's heart! He loves a good snack and will happily use them as motivation to come a little closer and get to know you. Once Bruno feels safe and at ease, he absolutely loves pats and will lean into gentle head rubs. If he's feeling really relaxed, you might even be lucky enough to hear his soft purrs!
Bruno also loves to meow when he'd like some attention, so he'll make sure you know when he's ready for a little interaction. He's the kind of cat who will really blossom with someone willing to let him move at his own pace and celebrate all those little moments of progress along the way.
Bruno is looking for a calm and understanding home where he can continue building his confidence and learn that he doesn't need to be scared. Give him the time and patience he needs, and you may just have a sweet, affectionate companion who will form a very special bond with you.
Bruno is also FIV positive. FIV-positive cats can live happy, fulfilling lives, but keeping Bruno indoors is important to help protect his health and reduce his exposure to illnesses and infections. His new family should be prepared to give him the safe, comfortable indoor life he deserves.
Bruno is part of our Rescue or Rehome program, where we are committed to finding homes for cats and kittens who simply cannot cope in the shelter environment. If you can open your heart and home to Bruno - or if you're a rescue group able to help - please reach out to us at adoptions@dogshome.com.
