Confident, curious, affectionate and just a little bit rambunctious — this gorgeous boy is full of personality and ready to find his forever pack.
His desex will be covered by the rescue when he is of age as part of his adoption fee. His final puppy vaccination will be the responsibility of his adopters.
He’s inquisitive, playful and very verbal, and he loves nothing more than being around his people and having a good play with other dogs. He would love a home with another friendly dog who can keep up with his puppy antics and help show him the ropes.
He’s already doing brilliantly with his routine. He loves his crate and, while it can take him a couple of minutes to settle, he’s learning that crate time means relax time. He’ll even let you know when he needs to head outside for a wee — although his current overnight schedule includes wake-up calls around 12am, 3am and 5am which will improve as he grows.
He’s enjoying his kibble along with a cooked, diced plain chicken breast each day and is growing into one very handsome boy.
And handsome he certainly is, but prospective adopters need to remember that this little guy is going to become a big German Shepherd. Teenage GSDs are energetic, confident and inquisitive, so he’ll need someone prepared to put in the time, patience and focused training to help him become the wonderful adult dog we know he can be. We believe he will be a longer haired GSD.
He loves his people, likes to stay close and is very much a pack animal. ❤️

How to Adopt: A Step-By-Step Guide:
1. Browse Our Selection: Visit our Animals page and use the menu to view the various pets we have available. Choose between cats and dogs to narrow your search.
2. Expression of Interest: Found a pet that captures your heart? Reach out to us for an Expression of Interest (EOI) form to initiate the process.
3. Patience is a Virtue: We meticulously review every EOI to ensure each animal goes to the right home. Thank you for your patience during this critical stage.
4. Meet Your Potential Pet: If your EOI is approved, we'll organise a Meet & Greet session. It’s a great opportunity for both you and the animal to see if it’s a perfect match.
5. Adoption Application & Home Review: If you're ready to move forward, you'll need to complete our adoption application and agree to a home review.
6. Review & Approval: Your application and home review will be assessed to guarantee a secure, loving environment for your potential pet.
7. Adoption Fee: Upon approval, you'll be required to pay the non-negotiable adoption fee. This fee directly supports our animal care efforts.
8. Welcome Home: Once the fee is processed, we'll coordinate the special day when you can bring your new pet home.
