About Dolly
Meet Dolly — the soft, sweet tabby who lives life at her own calm pace… unless there’s water involved. Affectionately known as “Bath Cat,” Dolly adores anything water‑related. She’ll drink straight from the tap, supervise your baths, and happily splash around like it’s her personal spa day.
Dolly is a reserved girl at first, but once she feels safe, her gentle nature shines. She loves pats, cosy naps, and curling up for cuddles. She’s a champion cocoon‑maker too — slipping under blankets, burrowing beneath furniture, and creating snug hideaways where she can snooze the afternoon away.
Her favourite time of day is the morning, when she’s playful and curious. She enjoys bird watching, batting at toys, and exploring before settling into her relaxed afternoon routine. Dolly prefers dry food over wet, and she’s wonderfully easygoing with other pets — she gets along well with cats and is friendly (though not overly smoochy) with respectful dogs.
Because Dolly is such a thoughtful, gentle soul, she may become bored as an only cat unless she has a human who can engage with her regularly. She thrives with companionship, soft voices, and someone who appreciates her quiet sweetness.
If you’re looking for a tender, water‑loving cuddle-bug who brings calm, comfort, and a touch of quirky charm to your home, Dolly might be your perfect match.

Adoption details
All forms (including foster and adoption) can be found at the following link:
http://www.challyanimalrescue.org.au/adopt.php
** Only applications submitted via this link will be considered **
Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
