He is looking for a special person or family who will be home more often than not, so he can have plenty of company, comfort and companionship as he settles into retirement.

He can be a little unsure around bigger dogs, so he may be happiest as an only dog or with a calm, smaller canine companion who can respect his space and gentle nature.
