About Julie SUA015718
Meet Julie, a gorgeous lady looking for a home that matches her personality – quiet, calm and wonderfully easy-going. She would love her own special person to bond with and a peaceful home where the days pass by without too much hustle and bustle.
Once comfortable, Julie loves a warm lap for a snooze and may even greet you with a little chat when you come home. She is also an independent lady who is perfectly happy with her own company, especially if she has a cosy bed beside a window where she can relax and watch the world go by.
Julie enjoys affection, but she isn’t interested in being smothered with love. She knows her own mind and will let you know when she has had enough, so she needs someone who understands and respects her boundaries. Children and dogs frighten her, and when it comes to other cats, Julie has zero tolerance – she intends to be the one and only feline in her home!
Julie is FIV+, so she is looking for a strictly indoor-only home where she can remain safe and comfortable. She will need some time to settle in and get to know her person, but she is well worth the patience. If you’re looking for a gentle, independent companion who enjoys lap time, quiet company and affection on her own terms, Julie could be your perfect match.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
