About Symba
Hi there! Looks like you are looking for your new fury friend. Well, my name is Symba and I could be your best mate you are searching for!
I'm currently staying at my foster home. I have a foster mum, dad and their teenage kid. They also have some fluffy friends-2 doggies (large and medium sized), some birds and a guinea pig. I'm a good friend of my foster brother and sister, but I'm still learning to properly say hello to other dogs when I go out. If you introduce them slowly and give me time to get know them, I will be a best friend for them. I really don't care about my feathery friends, but I'm a bit too keen to check out the small fluff ball (guinea pig), so my foster parents don't let me go too close to him yet. Once again, I need to get used to some other animals, so please take your time to introduce them.
Because of my previous experience, I sometimes feel anxious. I don't know when you are coming back (or if you will ever come back!) if you leave me alone at home by myself. I just need to adjust myself to the new environment and routine. I prefer to have my hoomans around most of the time, especially the first few weeks until I settle in.
My favourite activities are daily walks and going out in the car. My foster family is taking me out often so that I can practise my socialising skills. I get excited easily but I'm quite good on a lead once I settle down. I can't resist all those interesting smells, so I might pull you a bit. Please keep teaching me how to walk gently.
The current home has 5 to 6 foot tall fences all around. I'm not a jumper, but I'm very curious and tend to check the outside world through the fence, so I need a good steady fence to keep me safe. I don't dig or chew when I'm outside. My foster parent can leave me outside without worry about me destroying their yard. I usually spend time on their little deck having a snooze mostly.
How does it sound? Are you interested to find out how good I am? Please come and meet me! I won't disappoint you!!
Cheers, Symba
