About Ella
(Assist Rehome)
Meet Ella, a gorgeous American Staffordshire Bull Terrier who has truly perfected the art of taking life easy! 😂❤️
Ella is super sweet, incredibly chill and wonderfully affectionate. In fact, her nickname is “The Sloth” because this girl is SO relaxed! If she’s given the choice between an exciting adventure and curling up on the couch or bed with her humans, she’ll happily choose the snuggles. 🥰
But don’t let her laid-back nature fool you — Ella absolutely loves going for walks and is great on a leash. She’s also great with other dogs and enjoys having canine friends around.
Ella adores kids and is a beautiful family dog. She even sleeps with her little human most nights, because apparently every kid needs a furry bed warmer! ❤️
Ella is an inside/outside dog, is house trained and knows her manners, including sitting and eating on command. She loves to play when the mood strikes, but at heart, she’s definitely a professional snuggler.
Ella does need a home without chickens or other small animals, as she isn’t suitable around them. She is perfectly comfortable with other dogs, though, and knows the difference between a canine friend and a potential chase target.
There is one other thing her new family will need to be aware of. Two-stroke sounds, particularly whipper snippers, can really trigger Ella. She can become fixated on the sound and will run up and down the fence. If another dog is close by while she is in this heightened state, she can become reactive towards them, so careful management and separation during these situations will be important.
Aside from this, Ella is a beautiful, loving and easy-going girl who would happily spend her days by your side. She’s the kind of dog who doesn’t need constant entertainment — just a comfy spot, a few walks, plenty of cuddles and her people close by.
🐾 A Few Important Things to Know
• Interstate adoption is available at the adopter's expense. Please contact us for a transport quote. Puppies under 12 weeks of age are unable to fly and will remain in foster care until they have completed their veterinary work and are old enough to travel.
• Breed and adult size: As a rescue organisation, we cannot always guarantee a dog's breed mix or their expected adult size.
• Medical conditions: Any known medical conditions or ongoing care requirements will always be clearly outlined in the dog's adoption profile.
• Veterinary care: All puppies and dogs are adopted with proof of their completed veterinary work.
• Making an enquiry: When submitting an enquiry, please include a little information about yourself, your location, and your contact details. This allows us to pass your enquiry on to the foster carer, who will contact you if they believe the dog may be a suitable match.
• If you are renting: Please include a copy of your current lease agreement or written approval from your landlord confirming that pets are permitted at the property. This will assist us in processing your application.
