About Lexie
(Assist Rehome)
Lexie is happy, funny, goofy, super affectionate, playful and wonderfully bouncy. She loves her humans and even has a habit of having little morning conversations with you — because apparently breakfast time is also catch-up time! 😂
She is great with other dogs and loves being part of the action. Lexie also loves the chickens, although she’ll need to be supervised around them. She thinks they are excellent playmates and can get a little too enthusiastic and boisterous in her attempts to join their games! 🐔
Lexie is an inside/outside girl, is house trained and is generally an incredibly easy dog to live with. She’s good on a leash, has no real bad habits and isn’t remotely fussy when it comes to food — if it’s edible, Lexie is probably interested! 😂
And this girl is a water baby! 💦 While she isn’t quite convinced that swimming is her thing, she absolutely LOVES hanging out in the creek and around the pool. If there’s water involved, Lexie wants to know about it!
The only thing her new family will need to be aware of is her reaction to two-stroke sounds, particularly whipper snippers. The sound can cause Lexie to become fixated, and she will run up and down the fence while it’s happening. Her family will need to manage this and keep her safely contained when those noises are around.
Otherwise, Lexie is simply a wonderful all-round dog who has so much love, fun and affection to give. She would make a fantastic addition to a family looking for a loyal, playful and loving companion who will happily be right in the middle of family life.
🐾 A Few Important Things to Know
• Interstate adoption is available at the adopter's expense. Please contact us for a transport quote. Puppies under 12 weeks of age are unable to fly and will remain in foster care until they have completed their veterinary work and are old enough to travel.
• Breed and adult size: As a rescue organisation, we cannot always guarantee a dog's breed mix or their expected adult size.
• Medical conditions: Any known medical conditions or ongoing care requirements will always be clearly outlined in the dog's adoption profile.
• Veterinary care: All puppies and dogs are adopted with proof of their completed veterinary work.
• Making an enquiry: When submitting an enquiry, please include a little information about yourself, your location, and your contact details. This allows us to pass your enquiry on to the foster carer, who will contact you if they believe the dog may be a suitable match.
• If you are renting: Please include a copy of your current lease agreement or written approval from your landlord confirming that pets are permitted at the property. This will assist us in processing your application.
