About Billu
Meet Billu, a gorgeous, gentle boy with a heart full of love and a serious appreciation for cosy blankets and cuddles! 🤍🖤
Extremely affectionate, cuddly and wonderfully people-focused, Billu is the kind of cat who actively seeks out human connection. The moment you put your hand out, he’ll happily come over for pats, and if he decides he needs some attention, he’ll follow you around the house until his human has been located!
Billu’s favourite pastime is simple: napping beside his favourite people on the couch. He is happiest curled up next to you, especially when there’s a beloved blanket involved. He loves making biscuits on his blankets and will happily lounge beside you all day while you work from home or watch TV. At the end of the day, there really is nowhere Billu would rather be than curled up next to his person, enjoying the cosy comforts of home.
He is also possibly one of the most gentle and tolerant cats you could ever meet. Billu has a wonderfully sweet nature and is incredibly patient with his humans. He enjoys being brushed and, while he’s still learning about toys, he’ll immediately assume the classic belly-up kitten position!
Billu can occasionally be startled by loud noises, such as a door closing, but he takes great comfort from his favourite humans. As soon as he sees you, he quickly settles again, showing just how much he looks to his people for reassurance.
Billu definitely believes that bedtime should be a shared activity. If he’s left outside the bedroom at night, he will make his feelings very clearly known with some loud protest meows before curling himself into a little ball near your feet on the blanket.
For someone looking for an exceptionally affectionate, gentle and devoted companion, Billu could be a beautiful match.
Billu is best suited as the only resident cat where he can be the centre of attention. He’s a boy who wants to be close to his humans, share their everyday life and soak up as much love and attention as possible. Give him a comfy couch, a favourite blanket and a person to cuddle beside, and Billu is one very happy cat. 🐾🐱

Adoption details
All animals adopted through Out of the Woods Rescue are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea/worm treated and health-checked. We aim to match each animal with a home that suits their needs and personality.
Here’s how our adoption process works:
Submit an application – This helps us get to know you, your household and what you're looking for in a pet.
Phone chat – If your application looks like a potential fit, one of our team members will contact you for a casual phone conversation to answer questions and discuss the animal in more detail.
Meet and greet – You’ll meet the animal in their foster home or another agreed location. If everyone agrees it’s a good match, we can proceed to adoption.
Adoption paperwork and payment – Our adoption fees cover desexing, microchipping, vaccination and parasite treatment.
Once adopted, the animal becomes part of your family. We're still here for post-adoption support if you ever need any help.
We’re committed to ethical adoptions and reserve the right to decline applications if we feel the match isn’t in the best interest of the animal.
