Alannah

Alannah (Nala) is a 4yo desexed mini dachshund.
She came to us due to her owner having young children and finding they didn't have the time for the dog as the children have gotten older and busier.

Nala is a sweet girl , fine with other dogs but a little shy/ nervous to start but quickly makes friends and moves on.

Nala would suit a home with older children as she has a little issue with young kids - quite likely to them grabbing at her.
She is fine walking past etc but we don't think a home with young children would suit her .
A doggy friend would be preferred as she enjoys the company and doesn't like being left for long periods so a little friend helps with this.

Nala walks well on the lead , enjoys a car ride and likes routine as seems she hasn't had much of that previously .

Wouldn't suit being left home for long periods she likes her people to be around.

Currently sleeps in a bed with blankets she pulls over her head.
