About Cheeto
Meet Cheeto! Cheeto is a sweet and gentle cat who is gradually settling into the shelter environment. While he can find his surroundings a little overwhelming, he responds positively to gentle physical contact and food motivators. Cheeto is currently enjoying some quiet time to feel safe and may choose to hide while he adjusts. However, he has already shown us his playful side, happily engaging with toy mice. As his confidence grows, we expect more of his cute and affectionate personality to shine through. With patience, reassurance and a calm environment, Cheeto has the potential to become a wonderful companion. His personality and behaviours are likely to continue developing as he becomes more comfortable and secure.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
