Meet Brontie 🐾

If Brontie could pack her own bag, it would be full of squeaky and crunchy toys. She carries a toy around almost everywhere, plays happily on her own and has been known to fall asleep surrounded by her favourites, sometimes with all four legs in the air.

This young pup loves being close to her people. Whether she’s ready for a nap or excited about the day, she’ll make her way onto your lap and look up at you. She’s also taken to car rides, sitting quietly and watching the world through the window.

Brontie is still settling into foster care with a loving family. Her early introductions to the resident dogs have been full of tail wags, and she greeted the family cat with a lick before wandering off. She can feel unsure about new things, but a little encouragement and a toy help her find her confidence. Lead walking and basic cues are new to her, so she’ll enjoy a family happy to keep practising with her.

Brontie has shown she can entertain herself, too. After an hour playing with toys and doing zoomies in the yard, she settled down for a nap without a fuss.

Because Brontie is in foster care, we’re getting to know her personality and what helps her thrive. To meet her, send in an adoption application and we can arrange a meet and greet. SAFE doesn’t have a shelter to visit, but Brontie would be delighted to meet you.
