Hi Folks, I'm Vesper! I'm a gentle guy and, if I'm honest, still really shy.

Nature
I lived alone my entire life, fending for myself in and around the wetlands.

I'm starting to realise that humans ain't so bad, especially when they have treats with them! The soft beds and window seats are also pretty sweet.

If my boundaries are pushed, I will let you know, but please know I'm just scared and I'm used to having to defend myself to survive.

If you can give me your patience and let me build confidence, I just know that I'll be your most devoted best friend!

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I think I would prefer a quieter household, as loud noises still scare me. Adults are great, and I think I'd enjoy older children who can respect my boundaries..
I've never met a dog, but I think they might be pretty scary.

Once I feel comfortable, safe, and confident, I might be good around other cats, but right now I'd prefer my own space.

✅️ Puzzle toys! My foster mum says I'm a clever boy, as I've mastered all the puzzles she's given me straight away! I did say I love treats..
✅️ Window views, I may not be outside anymore, but I still love watching the outside world.

❌️ Being touched. I'm not quite there yet.

My PURR-fect home would be a calm house with people who are willing to give me patience. Someone who works from home would be great (but not essential), as it would give me more opportunities to build my confidence.

Medical Notes: Vesper has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) which is a virus that can affect his immune system, however, he can still potentially live a long healthy life. FIV is transmitted through deep bite wounds. Due to his FIV Vesper will need to be an indoor only cat. FIV cats can live harmoniously with other cats however slow introductions are required to ensure they do not fight.
