About Koda
Koda is a beautiful 7-year-old Kelpie with the sweetest and most gentle nature. He is incredibly patient, calm and seems to take whatever is happening around him in his stride. He’s really just a big cuddly teddy bear who loves being close to his people!
One of Koda’s best qualities is just how adaptable he is. He is great with young children, friendly with other dogs and has also been cat and chicken tested. He is interested in cats and likes to say hello, but respects their space.
Koda could happily live with another friendly dog, children or respectful cats, but would be just as happy being the centre of attention. More than anything, he loves being included and being around his people. In foster care, he quickly became a shadow, always happiest being wherever his carer was.
Koda is also on his way to becoming a healthier, fitter version of himself. He’ll need a family who will make regular exercise part of his routine and continue supporting his weight-loss journey. The more active he becomes, the more his playful side shines through, and you can start to see glimpses of his younger self coming back.
Koda LOVES balls. His eyes light up the second he sees one, and if another dog starts playing with a ball at the park, Koda will make it very clear that he would also like to be involved!
In exchange for plenty of cuddles, walks and the comfort of a loving home, Koda will give his family endless love, loyalty and companionship in return. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate companion to share your heart and home with, Koda might just be your perfect match. 🤎

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at https://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-process-forms/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
