Meet Sunny, a sweet and deserving American Staffordshire Terrier mix who is eager to find her confidence and joy with the right family. Sunny is a one-year-old bundle of potential, ready to thrive in an experienced and loving home. Currently weighing 21kg, she has a bright future ahead as a cherished companion.
Sunny may not have had the best start in life, but with patience, understanding, and a little encouragement, she shows her wonderfully social nature. Although she's been through some challenges, including an early separation from her pups and adjusting to the changes in her life, she's making strides every day.
Her journey to rehabilitation is ongoing, but the joy she finds in play is evident as she eagerly tries to interact with other dogs through fences. She's still learning the ropes, particularly with leash training, but her willingness to initiate play indicates a bright spark of sociability that just needs room to grow.
Sunny would likely be best in a home where someone is home more often to provide companionship. With her expressive nature, she'd do well with older, dog-savvy kids who can empathize with her journey and provide her with understanding friendship.
Sunny's quirks, such as her conflicted relationship with touch and occasional vocalizing and overexcitement, may relate to her hormonal changes, but these are facets of her personality that her new family will lovingly navigate together. She's been treated for an ear infection, ensuring her health is in better shape as she waits to meet her perfect match.

Adoption details
The adoption fee for all animals is $79 + all veterinary costs which are determined once your animal is booked in for desexing and will be discussed with you at that time.
We encourage potential adopters to meet specific animals. If you already have a dog and wish to adopt another, we require a 'Meet and Greet' session at the facility to ensure compatibility. Please contact us to make an appointment.
All animals adopted from our facility come:
• Desexed
• Vaccinated
• Microchipped
• Vet-checked
• Lifetime registered in NSW
Please note that desexing (if required) is only performed after adoption, which may result in a delay in taking your new pet home, depending on vet availability. Staff will contact you once an appointment is booked, we kindly ask that you personally collect your new pet from the vet clinic to ensure they can begin their recovery comfortably in their new home.

We do not offer trial periods for adoptions. Unless surrendered and the history is known, dogs in our care have not been tested with cats, so adopters should consider this carefully if there are cats in the household.
