Louis is one of those cats who can easily be overlooked… just another tabby waiting quietly in the background. 😔🐯

But Louis isn’t just another tabby.

When he first came to us, Louis had been trapped as a sub-wild cat. He didn’t trust people, he didn’t understand that humans could be kind, and the safety of a home was completely unfamiliar to him. 🥺

Fast forward to now… and look at him. ❤️

✨ He uses his litter tray perfectly
✨ He loves being clean and cosy
✨ He enjoys belly rubs once he trusts you
✨ He can be an absolute smooshy boy
✨ He is learning that humans = love, food, warmth and safety

Louis has come such a long way, but he still needs someone who understands that trust takes time. 🥹

He probably won’t jump into your lap and declare his love for you within five minutes of meeting you. And that's okay.

Give Louis 30 quiet minutes. Sit with him. Talk softly. Let him watch you. Don't rush him. And you may get to witness something incredibly special — that little nervous cat slowly deciding that maybe… just maybe… you're safe. 🥹💙

Once Louis knows you, his personality starts to shine through. He becomes softer, more affectionate and wonderfully smooshy.

🏡 Louis is looking for a very specific kind of home for now.

He would prefer:
🐾 A quiet, relaxed indoor-only home
🐾 No young children
🐾 Someone patient who won't expect instant affection
🐾 A desexed female cat friend he can slowly become friends with, OR a calm solo home where he can continue to blossom
🐾 Someone who will give him the time and patience he deserves

Louis has been waiting since 17/9 for someone to come along and pick him. 💔

Every day he waits, hoping that someone will finally look past the fact that he's a tabby and see Louis — the young cat who has already worked so hard to learn how wonderful having a person can be.

He is approximately 10–12 months old (exact age unknown) and is ready for the right person to give him the next chapter of his life. 🏠❤️
