About Nova
Young Nova has come a long way in her short time indoors, gone are the days where she hissed when humans entered the room, now she’s more likely to sit and have a chat with her humans about when she can expect wet food than she is to run and hide.
Every day brings a new level of appreciation for the humans she shares her home with, and has recently found the joys and warmth of sitting on her humans lap – provided no sudden movements are made!
Right now she loves a warm lap, but not be touched while using her humans as heated furniture! Her expressions make her boundaries very clear, and it’s a joy to watch her little annoyed face when human hands dare to encroach on her space. We believe it won’t be long until Nova embraces pats and chin scratches, but for now she’s working out that human touch is something to enjoy and not fear.
Nova shines when it comes to her toys, she loves playing with wand toys with her humans, chasing toy mice around and popping in and out of the cat tunnel. If food is the first way to this girls heart, toys follow close behind.
Nova loves her foster fur brothers, and she would thrive in a household with existing cats, she doesn’t mind if it takes awhile for them to warm up to her, she will steal any resident cats bed, food and humans heart while she waits for them to come around.
Because Nova is still rather skittish when it comes to loud noises and sudden movements, she would be best suited in a quiet house with adults or older children.

All adoptions incld 1 Free Vet Appointment at Mont Albert Vet or Canterbury Vet (Valued at $155) and or 50% off Dental Procedure *only if needed*
(Voucher Required -Please Ask for This once you have successfully adopted a pet from us)
We have a mandatory house inspection
Shortlisted adopters will be contacted to arrange a meet & greet with the animal. **Depending on our foster's availability
We do follow-ups throughout the life of the animal
In the event that you are unable to care for the animal anymore, you must contact us to seek verbal advice
Some animals will require mandatory enrollment to professional training/behaviorist - this will be noted on the animal's profile & adoption agreement, we will require proof of enrollment before we are able to complete the adoption process/transfer of ownership
