About Tina
Meet Tina, an exuberantly bouncy greyhound with a dash of quirkiness that makes her one-of-a-kind! Tina is a bundle of energy who takes pleasure in playing and exploring, but she quickly transforms into a lazy snuggle bug once she finds a cozy bed. Her love for people is boundless, and she delights in receiving pats from everyone she meets, making her the perfect companion for a family with children aged 5 and up.
Tina's playful nature shines through as she gleefully tosses around her stuffed toys. She's a loose lead walker who occasionally pulls when her curiosity leads her to exciting scents, but her affectionate and cuddly personality more than makes up for these moments of wanderlust. Although easily distracted, Tina is a gentle and loving friend who enjoys the company of another medium to large-sized doggy companion. However, her preference is for a home without pocket pets or cats.
While Tina is still learning how to best introduce herself to other breeds, she finds comfort and camaraderie with fellow greyhounds. A small backyard will suit her needs, as she'll indulge in the occasional zoomies and exploration session. Though she can be a lazy eater, her adoration for treats will have her at your side in no time.

Adoption details
Step 1: Please contact Anna Rogers, Dog colony supervisor (anna.rogers@tafesa.edu.au) for an application form.
Step 2: Return the completed application form to Anna Rogers. Once we receive your completed application form along with a minimum of 5 photos of your property showing various views of your backyard covering gates, fences, shelter areas for the greyhound and any other area (i.e. inside the house) the greyhound will be residing in. This is so we can assess your property as safe and suitable for a greyhound and match you to the dog that best suits your environment/lifestyle.
Step 3: We will match you with the dog best suited to your situation and lifestyle.
Step 4: A meet in greet will occur with all family members including any existing pet dogs. If everyone gets along and the application is successful, the dog will then be collected at an agreed later date.
Step 5: Collect the dog and shower them with love!
All the greyhounds up for adoption are desexed, microchipped, wormed and vaccinated. The dogs also have had regular dental checks and cleans.
All the dogs come with:
- their lead & collar,
- muzzle (if they require one),
- full medical history since they arrived at Tafe,
- desexing and vaccination certificates,
- a winter jacket,
- a blanket that smells of them and,
- a week's supply of dry dog food for you to transition the dog to the food of your choice.
