Meet Barney and April - bonded siblings looking for a lo loving home together.
Barney is a handsome cream flame-point boy with an easy-going nature and desire to ‘help’ with everything you do. He may pause to assess new situations, but curiosity always wins – soon he’s exploring, sniffing and searching for his next game. He’s a toy enthusiast, especially when tunnels are involved, and his dramatic side-flops and enthusiastic air biscuits are guaranteed to melt hearts. Barney is an instant purrer who loves pats, chin scratches and stretching out beside his human for a cosy nap.
Everyday household noises, including the vacuum, rarely bother him, and while unfamiliar loud sounds may startle him initially, he recovers quickly. He's slightly braver than his sister but still prefers that she investigate when it comes to exploring first, he will wait until she checks out the "danger".
April is a stunning grey tabby with splashes of orange and a personality just as colourful. She can be cautious with new people or unfamiliar sounds, but once she feels safe, her playful, curious nature shines. She lives for playtime - feather wands, stick toys, chasing Barney, racing up and down the stairs – she’s always ready for fun.
April is a loud, instant purrer who adores affection, happily headbutting your hand for chin scratches. She loves being close to her people, even if she’s quietly observing from a cosy hiding spot.
Her mischievous streak comes out around cardboard, and she would thrive with a cat tree to climb, perch and nap. Instead of meowing, she communicates through the sweetest little squeaks. Loud or unfamiliar noises send her to her safe space but she regains confidence quickly in a patient, gentle home.
Barney and April are rarely apart, spending their days playing, grooming, cuddling and exploring together. They rely on one another for comfort and confidence and are looking for a home where they can stay together.
